Half-annual profits of the Manama-based National Hotels Company (NHC) rose an impressive 41 percent, reaching 850,000 Bahraini dinars ($2.25 million), up from a net profit of BD600,000 reported between January and June 2001.
The bottom line surge was mainly attributed to a 12.8 percent increase in top line earnings and an 81.5 percent rise in operating profit, reaching BD560,000 at June-end 2002. The company owns the Diplomat Radisson SAS. — (menareport.com)
