The weekly Cabinet session discussed means of tackling the problems of the construction sector such as the increasing prices of building materials, finding suitable labourers and providing qualified technicians and engineers. The meeting reviewed the recommendations of the Ministry of Works and Housing and referred them to the ministerial committee for public facilities.
According to Bahrain Tribune, the Cabinet discussed a proposal to establish a company to implement the housing projects of the Ministry of Works and Housing, in cooperation with the private sector. The company would be owned by the ministry and the private sector. The proposal was referred to the ministerial committee for financial and economic affairs.
