Works on a new BD1.5 million government houses project, near the Riffa Fort, East Riffa, is projected to start at the end of the year, the GDN reported.
This is the first phase of a project, which also includes reconstruction of dilapidated houses and remodelling of others in the area. Fifty-four houses will be built in the project, said Works and Housing Ministry Assistant Under-Secretary for Housing Nabeel Abu Al Fateh.
