A new fixed land registration fee could soon be introduced, if a Shura Council plan gets the approval. According to the GDN, Shura (Parliament) Council members believe a fixed land registration fee of 1.5 per cent on the price will simplify the system and save money for buyers, including people purchasing land to construct their own houses.
