A massive BD422 million nationwide housing plan will provide homes for 11,500 families. The 23-project program, reviewed by the Bahraini Prime Minister on Monday, will also include BD30m in housing grants.
According to the GDN, the target is decent homes for every citizen as quickly as possible, said the Premier. He was also briefed on the implementation stages of the current 16 government housing projects, worth BD135m, including construction and ownership-transfer costs to build 4,358 housing units, comprising 2,400 houses, 1,258 apartments and 700 housing plots.
