Over BD50,000 will be directed to the redecoration, remodelling and maintenance of up to 25 rundown houses in the Southern Governorate, The GDN reported. The Southern Municipal Council intends to spend between BD2,000 and BD3,000 on houses singled out as the most desperate for repair.
