A senior Bahraini Works and Housing Ministry official on Wednesday rejected claims that the government was not fair in the allocation of government homes. Assistant Under-Secretary for Housing Affairs Nabeel Abu Al Fateh told the GDN houses were being distributed according to the date of application.
"We have just distributed houses for those applying in 1991 and by next year we will distribute houses to the applicants of 1992," he was quoted as saying.
