Municipal council members hope that residents living on government property in Juffair will end their stalemate by vacating premises to enable a block of flats to be built, The Bahrain Tribune reported. The construction project had received an approval three years ago. Hassan Eid Bokhamas, member of the Chamber of Deputies said that the Ministry of Housing suggested giving the tenants five newly built houses in Hamad Town and financial support to furnish the houses but it was rejected.
