Bahrain, the first GCC country to sign the free trade agreement with the US, aims at achieving the $5 billion export target to the US by 2010, the Chairman of the Bahrain Exports Development Society (BEDS), Yousif Mashal told Bahrain Tribune.
Mashal added that the target of $5b exports is "very realistic" and the kingdom's exporters can easily achieve it. Mashal said that huge US consumer market would open many opportunities for many sectors of Bahrain to the US market.
