Bahrain's Prime Minister has ordered demolition of Isa Town Sports Stadium to start. According to the GDN, this will clear the site for 'Khalifa Sport City' - a multi-million dinar project.
It will be built to top international standards with provision for all the main sporting disciplines.
The project will be based on developing land in the vicinity of the Isa Town Football Stadium. A new main grandstand, with a seating capacity of 3580, will be built as part of the project that comprises the development of a master plan with different sporting facilities for the entire area.
