Bank Leumi (BLUSA) has promoted Yair Talmor to Senior Executive Vice President and Deputy to the CEO. In this role, Talmor will be responsible for all of the bank's lending activity.

Talmor will oversee lending activity at BLUSA branches in California, South Florida, New York and Chicago as well as the bank's International Lending, Corporate Finance and Trade Finance divisions. Previously Talmor was Executive Vice President in charge of BLUSA's National Banking Division. He joined the Leumi Group in 1982 as part of its Graduate Training Program.

The new structure separates the bank's lending functions and will allow BLUSA's Chief Credit Officer, Ira Romoff, to focus on ensuring quality, monitoring risk and establishing sound lending policies and guidelines.

BLUSA is an FDIC-insured commercial bank that provides financial services to middle-market firms, international businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. With offices in Chicago, New York, Miami, Boca Raton, Encino, San Jose and Beverly Hills, the bank facilitates investments and trade between the US and Israel.

BLUSA offers domestic and international private banking services as well as a full range of securities and insurance products through its brokerage subsidiary, Leumi Investment Services. BLUSA is the largest subsidiary of the Leumi Group, Israel's largest banking group. — (menareport.com)
