Batelco is helping those who fly in to a panic when receiving an overdue bill. Batelco’s improved Direct Debit service allows customers to pay their telephone bills automatically from their bank account.
The Batelco Direct Debit Service has been extended to include HSBC, NBB, BBK, AUB, and Citibank in the scheme.
The revamped service has also been extended to include residential and mobile customers and small businesses with three to four telephone lines.
“Bill payments are made automatically on your behalf by your bank, to an agreed upper limit - forgetting to pay the bill will now be a thing of the past for many customers,” explained Mr. Ghazi Zuber Batelco’s Manager, Customer Relations.
To apply, customers fill in a Direct Debit form, available from Batelco customer services giving bank details and their CPR or CR number. Customers then decide when they wish the service to start and by checking their average monthly telephone bill, available from Batelco’s Customer Service, staff they can set a ceiling on their monthly payment.
“The ability to control of the amounts deducted by the bank by selecting the maximum amount to be deducted from their account on a monthly basis is an important factor for customers,” he added. (menareport.com)
