Belarus Prime Minister Vladimir Ermoshin ended his two-day visit to Lebanon Wednesday, June 20, after a meeting with Lebanese President Emile Lahoud. He delivered an open invitation for Lahoud to visit Belarus.
"I informed Lahoud of our economic capacities and the chance for cooperation between the Lebanese and Belarus economies which are complementary," he said. Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri is expected to visit Minsk in the fall.
On Tuesday, Ermoshin and Hariri signed economic agreements covering double taxation, investment and trade. ― (AFP, Beirut)
