Jordan's Special Free Zone Company started the process of establishing an industrial estate in Al Karamah area at
the Jordanian-Iraqi border with a view to serve investors and foreign firms working in rebuilding Iraq.
According to Petra news agency, Director General of the company, Hani Kayed, said that the project meant to pave the way to Arab and foreign investors to have their own projects by providing infrastructure, banking and financial facilities, building houses for employees, and
building a tourist hotel.
Additionally, Kayed stressed the distinguished location of the company, pointing that the company might employ 7,000 people. (menareport.com)
