The Dubai Metals and Commodities Center (DMCC) plans to take bookings for the second stage of its business, the manufacturing phase. Jewelry, diamond and precious stone manufacturers are now being given the opportunity to pre-book manufacturing units.
“The first stage of the business, the refinery phase, is well underway,” said Chief Executive Officer of DMCC, Tawfique Abdullah. DMCC will eventually house multiple manufacturing units, each with 12 floors and available space of 6,000 square meters. In addition to the manufacturing facilities, registered companies will also have the option to secure staff accommodation within the grounds of DMCC.
Strategically located in Dubai at the crossroads of trade and commerce between East and West, DMCC is i positioned for manufacturers to service and access markets that span Middle East, North and Southern Africa, the Indian Subcontinent and the CIS.
DMCC will offer resident manufacturers benefits including a secure regulated environment, special freight rates, a fifty-year tax holiday and the benefit of property ownership.
The DMCC is a United Arab Emirates (UAE) free zone authority offering property ownership in addition to all other standard free zone services. The Center will consist of a commercial tower and manufacturing units with close proximity to Jebel Ali Port. Plots of land have also been allocated for the larger manufacturing units and refineries. — (menareport.com)
