Bosch AA, the Automotive Aftermarket equipment business division of Robert Bosch Gmbh, one of the world's leading developers of automotive technology and spare parts suppliers, on Tuesday, November 29, 2005, opened its Service Training Centre at the Dubai Airport Free Zone in conjunction with their Regional Middle East office.
The new training centre offers a three-day to two-week technical training courses for the diagnosis, repair and servicing of motor vehicles in which trainees will undergo comprehensive theoretical and intense practical training.
The courses are mainly divided into five training categories; Car technology (electronics and electrical systems, brake systems and gasoline injection systems), Diesel technology covering both Mechanical and electronic Diesel injection systems, test equipment repair and usage, spare parts sales and car service centre management courses.
The new Centre consists of a two-story teaching wing with modern classrooms and a single-story workshop-training wing with state-of-the-art teaching tools, ideally equipped workshops and offices in an area spanning over 550 square meters. The theoretical part of the training courses takes place on the upper storey technical classrooms, which are specially equipped for subjects such as "diesel injection technology", "electronics and brake systems" and "gasoline injection systems". The respective components for the technology, test benches, tools and a number of cross-sections of the component as models are available here. The participants are then taken to the training rooms and workshops on the ground floor, where they learn to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in the most efficient way with the latest Bosch test equipment.
