Brazilian exports to Saudi Arabia increased by 40 percent in 2000

Official statistics show that Saudi imports from Brazil totaled 2.3 billion Saudi Riyals ($613 million) in 2000. This figure translates into a 40 percent climb compared with 1999, reported Al-Hayat . In 2000, Brazil occupied the 13th position in terms of the largest exporter countries to the Kingdom.
