British Telecommunications is expected to announce on Thursday that it intends to divide its retail and wholesale businesses into separate legal entities, the Sunday Business newspaper reported without citing sources.
The newspaper said the restructuring would be the most radical move yet by chief executive Peter Bonfield to return the group to growth and reduce debt.
BT is also expected to announce plans to float group subsidiaries BT Wireless and Yell during the first half of next year, the article added.— (AFP)
