According to <i>Al-Sabaah</i> newspaper, companies of the Iraqi Ministry of Construction and Housing accomplished 6 bridges building projects in different Iraqi districts by a total cost of ID 1,350,000,000. A senior ministry official said that the biggest of these bridges is the 432 meter long Al-Kafal Bridge on the Yuphrate River in Al-Najaf, which was built by the Hamorabi State Contracting Company. The ministry's companies also built the Diali Bridge, in addition to another 4 bridges on the highway number 1.
