With the implementation of the new cooperative health insurance law in the near future, BUPA Middle East has been keen on continuing on their track of Saudization and a comprehensive training plan in order to fully meet the challenges ahead.
According to Executive Chairman of Nazer Group and a member of the National Health Insurance Committee at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Loay Hisham Nazer, "We aim to have a Saudization percentage in excess of 35 percent by the end of 2003 and 70 percent in three years time."
BUPA Middle East's recruitment process will include finding suitable Saudis with the necessary skills in English language proficiency, computer literacy, numerical proficiency and who are customer focused.
BUPA Middle East, which operates through ASAS Healthcare, a Nazer Group subsidiary, is part of BUPA UK, Britain’s largest private health insurance company serving six million members world wide through an extensive network of hospitals.
The company’s annual turnover which exceeds three billion dollars also owns and manages 39 hospitals in the UK and across Europe. — (menareport.com)
