Cairo Pharmaceuticals to set up new plant

Cairo Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries (CPCI) is seeking to expand its manufacturing facilities with the establishment of a new plant in the Egyptian city of Badr, which is planned to produce biotechnological medicines, reported Al-Alam Al-Yaum.  

 

The company reported a 7.33 percent increase in its net profits for the first half of the current financial year 2001/2002, reaching 16.35 million Egyptian pounds ($3.51 million), as compared to the corresponding six-months period the previous FY, when CPCI’s bottom line stood at EP15.24. — (menareport.com)
