Canada’s Clarity Networks has completed a large campus area network project for Egypt's National Research Center (NRC) on time and on budget, stated a press release.
The network provides state of the art Gigabit Ethernet LAN connectivity and Internet access to NRC researchers and included the implementation of a campus style network connecting 1,300 nodes across 15 buildings. The network consists of three central switches, 13 local building switches and 35 departmental floor switches all managed centrally with network management software.
The project awarded to NTG Clarity in March 2003 through its wholly owned subsidiary, NTG Egypt. Established in 1992, NTG Clarity delivers network, IT and infrastructure solutions to network service providers and large enterprises. More than 150 network professionals provide design, software development, implementation and security expertise to the industry's leading network service providers and enterprises. — (menareport.com)
