Soft drinks giant Coca-Cola recently launched its latest product in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Fanta Blackcurrant, available across the Gulf. In keeping with the Think Local, Act Local stance of the company, the communications strategy has been built around the Arabic name of the product, Toot.

“Fanta Blackcurrant is a particularly dynamic drink and one that appeals to the discerning teen market,” Coca-Cola Gulf Public Affairs Manager Dana Mubaidin said. “We are delighted with the impact that Fanta Blackcurrant has had in the UAE so far. This follows the successful launch of Fanta Strawberry last summer.”

The Coca-Cola System employs more than 650 people in the UAE. The Company’s product range in the country includes Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola light, Sprite, Fanta, Riwa Mineral Water and Hi-C fruit juices. — (menareport.com)
