IT security solutions provider ComGuard has reported a closer partnership with NetScreen Technologies, a developer of Internet security systems, to develop a more comprehensive regional distribution strategy and better manage the channel for NetScreen products and services.
ComGuard will distribute NetScreen products to the Middle East and Africa market through fully authorized NetScreen resellers. This expanded partnership comes at a time when regional sales and demand have increased requiring a more in-depth business strategy. Offerings for professional, support and training services for NetScreen appliances will be rolled out to customers through resellers across the region immediately.
Under the terms of the agreement, ComGuard will invest 500,000 Emirati dirhams ($136,128) to construct and staff a 'proof-of-concept' lab and training facility at its Dubai Internet City (DIC) headquarters. The lab and training facility will enable ComGuard staff to test customer configurations and new NetScreen software releases, as well as providing an ideal location at which the company can train its staff and educate its resellers and customers. — (menareport.com)
