Compaq, Emirates National Oil Company Team Up in Strategic Deal

Compaq Computers, the world's largest computer supplier, signed a strategic agreement with Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC). 

The agreement, signed between Joseph Hanania, Compaq Manager for the Gulf and Levant, and Hussain Sultan, Chief Executive of ENOC Group, will call for Compaq to supply and install notebooks and desktop PCs to ENOC offices. In addition, Compaq will supply Intel-based computer servers.  

ENOC, a global company incorporated in 1993, has been involved in activities related to the UAE's oil and gas sectors. The company encourages diversification of the UAE's economy. "ENOC prides itself on its modern IT infrastructure, which is vital to the management of our global operations," announced Hussain Sultan. "With the increasing importance of e-communications and the Internet, it is vital that our employees are connected and have the ability to communicate with ease and access essential information." 

Compaq was selected by ENOC for its leading stance in the global market, and for its strong reputation in local customer service and support.
