Comtrust the e-solutions business unit of Etisalat announced IAL Container Line as the latest business to sign up to its dedicated Internet hosting services. Subscribing to both Comtrust's Premium and Standard service, IAL will host its Lotus domino messaging and workflow software, its Web server and its Websphere application DB2, at Etisalat's Internet Data Center in Dubai.
IAL Container Line is active in shipping transportation and related services throughout the south and west of Asia, offering international transportation on land or by sea through containerized liner services. Headquartered in Dubai, but serving from over 40 locations in 21 countries, IAL carries a wide variety of products within the service sectors using its owned or leased equipments. Rather than investing in its own IT resources or expertise to manage its IT infrastructure, IAL subscribed to Comtrust's eHosting solutions in order to improve its supply chain workflow and communication needs.
