Construction of Bahrain World Trade Centre by summer of 2006

DTZ Bahrain, international property advisors commissioned by the owning company to head the letting and management of the Bahrain World Trade Centre (BWTC) have recently given details of the largest concrete pour ever to take place in Bahrain, with USD 1 million dollars worth of concrete pouring into the East tower foundations of the BWTC in a record time of 20 hours.

 

Joint venture firm Nass-Murray & Roberts who have been appointed as the contractors for the BWTC undertook the Kingdom's construction milestone.

 

The BWTC, a 50-storey, twin tower commercial office development is currently under construction adjacent to the Sheraton Hotel in Manama and is due for completion in the summer of 2006.

 

The project will house an extended retail centre of 100 new units, and 35,000 sq m of prime office space in a twin tower commercial centre on the seafront side of the existing hotel, landscaped gardens.
