The Armada Group, a major UAE real estate developer has recently signed a major deal with Best Contracting, a local company operating from Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates for the construction of the Salam Tower, slated to be the tallest free-standing monument in Sharjah. Best Contracting is owned by Sheikh Dr. Faisal Bin Khalid Al Qasimi and the entire contracting project is expected to last 32 months.

Standing at 57 stories, or 210 meters high, the Salam Tower will have a four-storey car park. There will be 284 luxury flats, as well as 12 penthouses, magnificently located overlooking the Al Khan lakes area. The ground floor will have a cafeteria and a meeting room, equipped with the most modern audio-visual facilities. The mezzanine floor will hold numerous and varied office spaces. There will also be a state of the art health club, a nursery and dedicated male and female swimming pools.
Although construction has only just started, the Salam Tower will be ready to welcome tenants as soon as 2006, a date that clearly highlights the feverish intensity at which current construction is underway.
The other major construction project undertaken by the Armada Group is the building of the luxurious Armada Towers. The three Armada Towers are expected to house 1,200 apartments and the project will be located in the Jumeirah Lake Tower's development by Nakheel. The Armada Towers will occupy a total space of 1600,000 square feet.
It will have the allure of first class shopping facilities. The Armada Towers will also house twelve luxurious penthouses, four in each tower. Nearby are several top quality golf courses with easy access to the buildings.
The Armada Towers project should reach completion and be ready to welcome tenants by the first half of 2007.
