SNAS/DHL, a regional express courier company and the first to operate in Saudi Arabia, dominates the kingdom’s air express delivery market, a recently conducted research on the courier industry showed, announced Harlis Malkic, the company’s country manager.
The research selected four pickup destinations—Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh and Bahrain—andd seven delivery destinations—Dubai, Dammam, Beirut, Jeddah, Bahrain, Jubail and Riyadh. With two deliveries consisting of documents and packages, and two timings, the research showed that DHL outperformed its competitors in delivering both packages and documents first.
The research findings which aimed at evaluating a series of customer services also revealed that DHL is leading the way in terms of customer service including telephone response time, shipment tracking, listening and comprehension and overall telephone presentation. Other criteria in which DHL also led included the ability to estimate delivery times for customers.
SNAS is the largest air express company and the first global courier company to operate in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East with a fleet of nine aircraft operating over 430 flights monthly.
DHL Worldwide Express service links more than 120,000 destinations in 229 countries and territories. DHL has a fleet of over 260 aircraft.
