ALBAWABA - In a groundbreaking move, soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo has made a substantial investment of $40 million in the upcoming UFL game, positioning itself as a formidable competitor to EA FC.

UFL, the anticipated rival to EA Sports FC (formerly FIFA series), recently opened registrations for an open beta, inviting gaming enthusiasts to get an early taste of the action after unveiling a compelling trailer in October.

Powered by the Unreal Engine, UFL has collaborated with FIFPro, representing an extensive network of over 65,000 professional football players worldwide, along with sports performance analysis firm InStat.

This strategic partnership ensures that the game features real-time statistics for every player, enhancing the gaming experience.

Cristiano Ronaldo, expressing enthusiasm about his involvement in UFL's latest venture, remarked, "Being part of this project excites me, as UFL has the potential to revolutionize football gaming with a fresh approach."

While an official release date is still pending, the closed testing phase kicked off this fall. The game is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC Windows platforms in the latter part of 2023.
