DAFZA launching G2B initiative

Published November 2nd, 2000 - 02:00 GMT

Tenant customers of Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA) will be able to conduct their interactions with the Authority online. Announcing the first stage in its e-Government program, DAFZA will introduce Government to Business (G2B) online capabilities to increase the efficiency of the service it provides.

Through its G2B initiative, existing customers of DAFZA will be able conduct their administrative requirements in a paperless environment. This will include such procedures as the application and renewal of staff visas, passports and health-cards; maintenance of employee records; processing of gate passes and office maintenance requests. Similarly, potential customers will be able to access online information for setting up in the DAFZA and complete their qualification procedures with the Authority, securely over the Internet.

The complete e-Government end-to-end solution will be deployed by Advanced Business Systems (ABS), built on Microsoft technology, which will integrate DAFZA’s external and internal. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
