Danish pump manufacturer Grundfos turned down a 100 million Danish krone order from Iraq. The company’s refusal to fill the request is forecasted to cut Grundfos’ annual growth by two percent, reported Boresen

Last year, a large Danish trade delegation went to Iraq to attend the annual international trade fair in the capital, Baghdad. Denmark was represented by 33 companies, including Grundfos, Danfoss, Radiometer and Danisco.

Grundfos’ water pumps are used for field irrigation, industrial processes, heating or cooling buildings, wastewater management and drinking water supply. Products are sold and serviced primarily through a network of Grundfos-owned national subsidiary companies. — (menareport.com)
