DCCI Director General conducts trade talks with Iranian representative

Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al-Mutaiwi invited the president of the Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines, to attend the opening of the third United Arab Emirates (UAE) Exhibition to be held in Tehran on June 9.  

 

The Director General of the Dubai Chamber, met with President of the Kermanshah Chamber, Meraj Mehrabi Movaghar. During this meeting, they discussed the current commercial and economic relations between Dubai and Iran. Al-Mutaiwi invited the Iranian businessmen to also participate in the exhibitions held in Dubai to promote Iranian goods, and to consolidate relations with the UAE businessmen.  

 

The president of the Kermanshah Chamber invited the Dubai Chamber to form a delegation to visit Kermanshah, and to consolidate the current relations between the two countries. He also suggested the signing of a co-operation agreement between Dubai and Kermanshah.  

 

Kermanshaw, is considered to be one of the biggest agricultural producing areas in Iran. It is also worth mentioning that Iran is regarded as one of the main trading partners of Dubai. Trade between the two countries in 2001, reached around 6.5 billion Emirati dirhams ($1.7 million). Iran occupies the first position among receivers of Dubai re-exports. — (menareport.com)
