The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently held a meeting with the Land Transport Business Group, one of seven new business groups planned by the Chamber. The meeting, which was headed by President of DCCI, Obaid Al Tayer underlies the Chamber's new initiative aimed at revising its working strategy.
Before a large audience comprising representatives of Dubai-based land transport companies, Mr Al Tayer stressed the necessity of organizing and holding meetings that provide members with a suitable discussion platform. In a brief presentation by Ahmed Al-Banna, Assistant Director General for Studies and International Affairs, DCCI, the Chamber highlighted the main issues facing the land transport sector.
New Business Groups are also scheduled for printing and publishing; food and beverages manufacturing; building materials trading and manufacturing; pharmaceuticals, healthcare and hospital equipments; and for organizers of exhibitions and conferences. — (menareport.com
