The Republic of Djibouti is located in Eastern Africa near Somalia, Ethiopia and Eritrea and borders the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea. Basically, its economy is connected with offering services related to its strategic location as a Duty Free area in East North of Africa. It imports most of its food from abroad, since rainfall is only enough for planting some vegetables and fruits. Therefore, it depends mostly on its activity as a transit port for the region, and an international stop station for cargo operations and fueling. — (menareport.com)
