Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al-Mutaiwee received the President of Milan Province, Italy, Ombretta Coli, who was accompanied by her special advisor, Luca Gatti and Italian Consul General, Aldo Volini.
Coli is visiting Dubai for the first time to mark Italy’s first presence at the Dubai Shopping Festival 2004, with a pavilion at Global Village. She expressed interest in consolidating commercial relations and cooperation between Milan and Dubai, highlighting the fact that Dubai represents the commercial focal point of the region as a whole.
Coli invited the Dubai Chamber to organize a delegation to visit Milan with the aim of opening further channels of communication between businessmen in Milan and their counterparts in Dubai. Al-Mutaiwee welcomed the invitation indicating that it would be a great step towards strengthening commercial and trade relations between the two cities. — (menareport.com)
