The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) received a Slovakian delegation headed by the President of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Peter Mihok and top business representatives covering various sectors of Slovakia's economy.

"The trade figures between our two countries do not reflect the many opportunities available," commented the Director General of the DCCI, Al Mutaiwee, upon welcoming the delegation. He added that Slovakia has to exert more effort in promoting its products and services in Dubai in particular and the region in general.

From his side, Mihok highlighted that 2/3 of Slovakia's trade is with the European Union which Slovakia will be a part of from the May 1, this year. He mentioned that he would like to widen their trade activities to cover other countries especially in the Gulf region and the Middle East. — (menareport.com)
