The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) will supervise all activities of business councils in Dubai and issue official permits for both existing business councils and those in the process of setting up.

DCCI met with delegates representing Dubai's business council community at the Chamber on Sunday. General consuls and commercial attachés, invited by DCCI President Obeid Al-Tayer, also attended the meeting aimed at discussing the new permit procedures.

Each business council will provide DCCI with a copy of its articles of association and a list of executive members to obtain the new official permit. The Chamber is currently considering nine new business council applications. — (menareport.com)
