Trade ministers from 29 developing countries have postponed a meeting planned for Thursday, April 12, to pave the way the WTO conference in Qatar in November, sources at Egypt's economy ministry said.
A new date will be set "after the concerned countries consult each other more about the agenda" for the meeting, the source said.
Ministers from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and other countries were to meet in Cairo April 12.
