Dubai stocks went down on Monday as investors expressed fear over the possibility of poor second quarter earnings from Emaar Properties as mortgage lender Tamweel slipped on its market debut. According to Reuters, Emaar led the way down in Dubai, losing 1.72 percent to close at 11.45 dirhams ($3.12).

Tamweel debuted at three times the price of its heavily oversubscribed initial public offering but then went down.
