DFM: Foreign investors purchase AED 2.899 billion worth of shares last week

Dubai Financial Market announced today that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week   (June 01- June 05) reached AED 2.899 billion comprising 35.8 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. 

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached AED 2.670 billion comprising 33.0 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached AED 228.9 million during the same period, as aggregate buy.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached AED 2.644 billion comprising 32.7 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED 2.043 billion which constitutes 25.2 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached AED 601.7 million during the period. as aggregate buy.
