Company representatives of the Dubai-based property developer ETA Star recently revealed that the firm would offer construction contracts valued at more than Dh500 million for two key projects to be confirmed in the next 30 days.
The projects include a Dh250 million construction package for The Centrium, a residential development in the International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) and a Dh270 million contract for Al Manara commercial tower at Business Bay, according to Gulf News. The four-tower Centrium project will offer one, two and three bedroom apartments for investors to choose from.
The news from ETA Star, the property development arm of the ETA-Ascon Group, comes in the wake of an announcement from Dutch Foundation that it had been awarded the Dh30 million contract for enabling foundation work at the two developments.
"Dutch Foundation has been involved in other important projects of ETA Star and the quality of their work has certainly been up to the mark, which prompted us to award the contracts to them," said Abid Junaid, executive director at ETA Star.
Excavation and piling work for Al Manara is scheduled for completion by the first week of October, while work on The Centrium is expected to be completed by November, the company announced.
The two companies had formerly partnered to on ETA Star's Goldcrest Executive and Goldcrest Views-2 projects at Jumeirah Lake Towers.
