The Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd (DHFL) of India recently opened its first representative office in Dubai with the intention of providing housing loans and advisory services to NRIs based in the UAE to purchase homes and plots of land in India.
The company has set up 'Property Support' services in its Dubai office to enable customers to identify potential properties in India which they may wish to invest in. DHFL will then carry out the preliminary appraisals for the customers in the United Arab Emirates office with the help of the branch offices in India.
"DHFL will provide a hassle-free service to NRIs looking to purchase property in India. Our pan-India network of branches and service locations will help us to provide a total housing solution to our customers in Dubai seeking to purchase a house in any part of India," Kapil Wadhawan, DHFL Managing Director stated, according to UNI.
The company also plans to offer a wide range of housing products at its new Dubai office, including home loans, home improvement loans, plot loans, mortgage loans and home extension loans. DHFL will also provide home loan linked insurance policies to its customers in the UAE.
