Diyar Outdoor, the largest billboard advertising agency in Iraq, announced today that it is adding the holy city of Karbala to a growing list of branches around the country.
In the first phase of the project, Diyar Outdoor is installing 15 4x3 panels in the heart of the city. The company plans to have 50 billboards in place by the end of the year.
"This expansion is part of the company's strategy to incorporate most of Iraq's urban centers for clients looking for nationwide exposure," said Nabil Hijazin, general manager of Diyar Outdoor.
“We are excited about being in Karbala. This holy city is unique in terms of the millions of pilgrims who visit every year,” Hijazin added.
The company also announced that a new outdoor network is under construction in the holy city of Najaf in southern Iraq.
Diyar Outdoor is an Iraqi agency that opened in the spring of 2003, specializing in outdoor and retail signage. The company is based in Baghdad, with a branch in Basra and a sales office in neighboring Amman, Jordan.
Diyar Outdoor offers a variety of outdoor advertising media, including an expanding network of 4x3, 8x3, 12x3 and 15x5 panels, covering Baghdad and Basra. With more than a dozen full-time employees and growing, Diyar Outdoor is setting a new standard for advertising in one of the most underexposed emerging markets in the world.
