The Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fayza Abu Alnaja, revealed that the Advisory Group of donor countries to Egypt, which recently met in Sharem El-Sheikh, promised to provide $10.3 billion in financial aid to Egypt by 2004, reported Al-Sharq Al-Awast . The group was also committed to grant Egypt an urgent aid package of $2.1 billion later this year.
