Industry sources recently revealed the complete sellout of zones 1 and 2 of Downtown Jebel Ali, a 200 hectare urban center covering an 11 kilometer stretch on Shaikh Zayed Road, within days of its launch.
Sources at Limitless, the global integrated real estate development arm of Dubai World, said that most investors were local and international developers, according to Gulf News. Sales are currently underway for zones 3 and 4 (West Central and West Quarter).
"We are delighted to have received such an overwhelming interest from investors, both local as well as international," said Saeed Ahmad Saeed, chief executive of Limitless.
"At Downtown Jebel Ali, we are not only creating a development, but a thriving community where people will want to live, not have to live. And the response we received confirms that we are on the right track and that investors share our vision," he added.
