The Dubai-based International Expo-Consults (IEC), part of the Falaknaz Group, is investing in Mumbai’s event management company Dimension Four (India), to launch a Sign & Graphic Imaging India trade show in the Indian commercial capital. Sign & Graphic Imaging India 2002 will be held at the Mumbai World Trade Center from September 25-27.

“The outdoor advertising markets of the Sub-continent are booming as television viewership fragmentation takes hold,” said IEC Vice Chairman Mohammed Falkanaz, according to a company press release.

“Industry analysts put annual sector growth in the Indian market alone at 23 percent. It is a very vibrant sector, which currently has no trade forum of its own. We have entered into this joint venture to plug this gap.”

The Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East 2002 exhibition was held this week at the Dubai World Trade Center. Other IEC shows in Dubai include Theme Parks & Fun Centers show, Sportex Middle East, Chemtex and Corrosion and Glass, Ceramics Minerals and Mining, Automotive Aftermarket Middle East which also has an Africa edition in Kenya. — (menareport.com)
