Pharoah's Club, the integrated sports and leisure complex at Dubai's Wafi City, will open in October a new ladies-only gym, which, at 82.5 square meters, is almost four times the size of its previous one.

The move follows a major renovation program, which also sees Pharoah's expand its ladies-only aerobics room, a mixed aerobics facility and a heavyweight center.

Pharoah's has bought in a host of new Icarian exercise equipment for the new ladies-only gym, which will also have a dedicated cardio theatre with four TV screens. "In total 21 new pieces of exercise equipment are being installed including treadmills, steppers, bicycles, benches and dumb-bell racks," said Neil Hewerdine, Health and Leisure manager for Wafi City.

The renovation has also freed up more space in Pharoah's mixed gym. "This is now being utilized to provide a facility for those wanting to work out with heavy weights and a dedicated aerobics studio," said Hewerdine. "The availability of two aerobics studios will now see us boost our weekly class offerings from 24 to 54 a week." — (menareport.com)
