Dubai’s reputation as the Shopping capital of the Middle East has been immortalized by luxury Swiss watch manufacturer Girard-Perregaux who have produced a watch titled ‘ww.tc 24 Hour Shopping’ underlining hot shopping spots around the world.

The watch is the female version of the men's ww.tc Financial (World Wide Time Control) that features the ability to track the opening and closing times of world financial markets.

The left crown moves the outermost dial ring to switch between time zones, with popular shopping locations mentioned at particular time zone indicators. Prominent locations apart from Dubai include the Ginza district in Tokyo, Orchard Road in Singapore, Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris, Bond Street in London, Tsum in Moscow, Madison Avenue in Manhattan and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills California among others.

Prominent features in the watch include a power reserve indicator and 24-hour ring with day and night indication. Included on the dial and bezel are over 80 diamonds. The highly polished steel case is 37.5mm wide.

A mother of pearl dial and onyx cabochon in the crown helps connect the black tones of the dial and alligator strap. Given its aesthetics, exceptional function and beauty, this watch has already won the title of the most beautiful watch at the 9th Edition of the "Prix officiel de la Revue des Montres 2008" organized by "Les Editions Jalou".
