Dubai’s secure transportation company Transguard has been accepted as an international associate member of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), a recognition which requires a proven track record of market activity.
"Transguard's role will be now even more critical within the region with recent directive to establish the Dubai Metals & Commoditieis (DMCC) in Dubai… With our endorsement from the LBMA, we look forward to being a major service provider to the DMCC.” Emirates Group Chairman Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, said.
Transguard provides security solutions and offers specialized services to individual companies and industries. The company handles all valuable cargo for export and import through Dubai International Airport, provides secure transportation in modern armored vehicles for valuables, international insurance and services ranging from airport-to-airport to door-to-door.
Transguard is based in the logistics center in the Dubai Airport Free Zone, with an office in the Dubai Air Cargo Terminal. LBMA is the hub of global Over The Counter (OTC) precious metals trading. Its membership includes banks, fabricators, refiners, shippers and brokers. — (menareport.com)
